Roznoski Added to Board of Directors

The New Glarus Cares Community Foundation is thrilled to announce the addition of Shannon Roznoski to our Board of Directors. Shannon moved to New Glarus in 2018 with her husband, Ken, and son, Iain, driven by a desire to build their dream home and become more involved locally.

For the past 5 years, Shannon has been a dedicated supporter of the York Prairie State Natural Area, volunteering her time and energy to preserve this ecological gem in Green County. Shannon also enjoys gardening, playing board games with friends, and hiking with her dog, Rolly.

Shannon now embarks on another exciting chapter, trading the professional world of information technology and software product management to pursue her passion for conservation via the Master's of Environmental Conservation at the UW Madison Nelson Institute. This academic journey reflects her commitment to deepening her understanding of environmental issues and finding innovative solutions for a sustainable future.

We are confident that Shannon's diverse skill set, combined with her dedication to our community and passion for the environment, will be invaluable assets to New Glarus Cares and our community as a whole.

Please join us in welcoming Shannon to New Glarus Cares. We know she will play a significant role in shaping our community.

As an added note, we also extend our sincere gratitude to Matt Belknap, Spanish Teacher at New Glarus High School, for his dedicated service on the Board. We appreciate his valuable contributions and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

Together, we can continue to build a vibrant and sustainable future for New Glarus!
