On April 13th, over 20 New Glarus organizations gathered at Village Hall to boost volunteerism. Facilitated by Mary Funseth and hosted by New Glarus Cares, the meeting included non-profits, service groups, and local government. They discussed strategies to overcome barriers and promote community engagement.

New Glarus celebrated Earth Day with a community garbage pick-up organized by New Glarus Cares. Despite chilly weather, over 20 volunteers cleaned up Veteran’s Park, Valle Tell Park, Village Park, Candy Cane Park, and various roads, including Highway 69 and Railroad Street.
