Seeking Community Input for Future Projects

Over the past two years, New Glarus Cares has proudly spearheaded fundraising efforts for two significant projects that have enhanced our community. The first was the acquisition of a 2.2-acre greenspace adjacent to Candy Cane Park, preserving an important area for recreation and relaxation for future generations. The second, and most recent, was the successful completion of a $250,000 inclusive playground, designed to ensure all children, regardless of ability, have a safe and accessible place to play. Both of these initiatives were possible thanks to the generosity of local supporters and businesses who share a vision for a vibrant, inclusive community.

As we look toward the future, we know there are still many opportunities to make New Glarus an even better place to live, work, and play. However, to ensure our efforts continue to reflect the needs and desires of our community, we’re turning to you, our neighbors, for guidance.

We are launching a community-wide survey to gather input from New Glarus residents about what projects or initiatives we should focus on next. Whether it's improving parks, enhancing public spaces, addressing local infrastructure, or supporting community events, we want to know where you think New Glarus Cares can make the biggest impact. No idea is too big or too small—every suggestion matters.

The survey is brief, taking just three minutes to complete, and your feedback will directly influence the direction of future projects in New Glarus. By working together, we can continue to foster a community that reflects the values and aspirations of those who call it home.

We encourage everyone to take a moment to share their thoughts and help shape the future of our town. Thank you for being an integral part of making New Glarus a wonderful place to live.
