Dirty Dog Taphaus Honored with Small Business Award

Leah Hansen and Keith Kube, owners of Dirty Dog Taphaus, were honored Thursday with the “Outstanding Small Business of the Year Award,” which they received at the Green County Development Corporation Annual Dinner & Awards Night at Turner Hall in Monroe.

The recognition was awarded to the owners of Dirty Dog Taphaus for demonstrating exceptional commitment to economic growth, innovation, and community support. Dirty Dog Taphaus stood out for its innovative business, dedication to the community, and contributions to the local economy.

Dorene Disch, board member of the New Glarus Cares Community Foundation, who attended the dinner with a delegation from New Glarus, praised the duo's achievements, stating, "Leah and Keith's vision and dedication have made a positive impact on New Glarus."

Dirty Dog Taphaus introduced its self-pour taphaus and eatery concept, providing a novel experience for patrons and transforming the historic Zweifel Jewelry building in downtown New Glarus creating a welcoming atmosphere.

In addition to their business success, Leah and Keith are staunch supporters of local initiatives and charitable organizations, exemplifying their dedication to giving back to the community.
