Earth Day Community Clean-up Saturday

New Glarus residents are invited to celebrate Earth Day by participating in a community-wide clean-up effort on Saturday, April 20th, from 9 AM to 12 PM. Organized by New Glarus Cares and sponsored by The Blumenladen Collective, the event aims to beautify the town and promote environmental awareness.

Volunteers will meet at the greenspace north of Fat Cat Coffee Works (6th Avenue and Railroad Street). The first 44 participants will receive free gardening gloves and a coupon to The Blumenladen Collective. Trash bags will be provided, and participants are encouraged to wear bright or reflective clothing for safety.

After the clean-up, volunteers are invited to an Earth Day After Party at The Blumenladen Collective for shopping, games, and a chance to support local businesses.

In case of rain, the event will be rescheduled for Sunday, April 21st, from 2 PM to 5 PM.

For more information, contact New Glarus Cares: Karen Condouris (978-314-0010), Dorene Disch (608-575-7089), or email info@newglaruscares.com.
