Auction Helps Raise Funds

It's been over six years since New Glarus lost a beloved member of its community, Jeremy Bigler. In his memory, the "Go Bigs or Go Home" Trivia Event was formed by family and friends with the aim of raising funds for the Jeremy Bigler Scholarship, not only to keep his memory alive, but to help a New Glarus High School student with college expenses. The plan again is to donate $1500.

This year, the fundraising for the 2nd annual silent auction will benefit two great causes: half of the proceeds will go towards the preservation of the greenspace at Candy Cane Park Hill, with the other half continuing to benefit the Jeremy "Bigs" Bigler Scholarship Fund at the New Glarus High School.

The silent auction, which begins on February 22nd and ends on March 3rd, has already received generous donations from Helvetia Systems, New Glarus Brewing Company, Jimmy Voegeli, Art & Soul, and This Becomes That. Some of the items up for bid include an Apple iPad, artwork, and tattoos.

Please be sure to "like" the "Go Bigs or Go Home" Facebook Page. This where the silent auction will appear and where you can bid: https://www.facebook.com/gobigsorgohome

If you would like to donate an item, please reach out to Conni Bigler at clbigler@gmail.com or message "Go Bigs or Go Home" on Facebook. Your contribution will help preserve a cherished greenspace in New Glarus and support the education of future generations in the name of Jeremy Bigler.
