Roy’s Market Customers Donations Total $2,584.25
Roy’s Market in New Glarus announced that through the generous donations of their customers and staff they are presenting a check to New Glarus Cares for $2,584.25 in support of the group’s efforts to preserve the greenspace adjacent to Candy Cane Park. Ron Anderson, store manager of Roy’s Market stated “The participation in our Round-Up fundraiser has been overwhelmingly positive. We are proud to be a part of such a generous community.”
Shelly Johnson, President of New Glarus Cares shared “What an incredible way to start off the month of February! Following the huge success of our sledding party, we are so grateful to Roy’s Market, their customers and staff for their donations. We are closing in on the half-way mark of our fundraising goal of $75,000 to fund our 50% contribution towards the purchase of the land with matching funds coming from Only in Wisconsin Giving, the charitable arm of New Glarus Brewing Company.”
