Local Businesses and Organizations Give

New Glarus Cares Community Foundation announced that local businesses and organizations have made generous donations to support the purchase of the greenspace at Candy Cane Park increasing the amount raised to date to $55,012. The foundation shared photos of the presentations, which include donation checks from Bank of New Glarus, Woodford State Bank, New Glarus Lions Club and New Glarus VFW Post 10549.

"We are thrilled and humbled by the outpouring of support from our community," said New Glarus Cares President Shelly Johnson. "These donations bring us one step closer to our goal."

The foundation needs $19,988 to reach its goal of $75,000. Donations can be made online at NewGlarusCares.com or by mailing a check to Bank of New Glarus, 1101 Highway 69, New Glarus, WI 53574. New Glarus Cares is a registered 501(c)(3) organization.
