New Glarus Cares Receive Donation from Biglers

The annual Go Bigs or Go Home Trivia event at Puempel's Tavern was a huge success, with ten teams and approximately sixty people participating. This year's event also included a Silent Online Auction, which raised an impressive $3,876. Half of the auction proceeds will go towards the Jeremy Bigler Scholarship, while the other half was donated to the Save Candy Cane Hill effort, a place where Jeremy spent time in his younger years.

"New Glarus Cares would like to express their gratitude to the Jeremy Bigler family for their decision to donate half the proceeds and to Conni for her work in managing the silent auction and providing some information on the history of Candy Cane Hill," said Dorene Disch, a board member of New Glarus Cares.

Those wishing to make a tax-deductible donation can make a check payable to New Glarus Cares and mailing it to the Bank of New Glarus, 1101 Highway 69, New Glarus, WI 53574, making a donation online at NewGlarusCares.com, or donating through their GoFundMe page (https://www.gofundme.com/f/save-candy-cane-hill-in-new-glarus-wisconsin).
