Ribbon Cutting

Over 60 community members gathered at Candy Cane Park to celebrate the official ribbon cutting of New Glarus's new inclusive playground. The event, which featured a potluck dinner, marked the culmination of a year-long community effort to create a play space designed for children of all ages and abilities. Representatives from New Glarus Cares, the Village of New Glarus, the Chamber of Commerce, and many local donors and volunteers were in attendance. Children eagerly explored the new equipment, while community leaders reflected on the importance of collaboration and support. The inclusive playground stands as a testament to what can be achieved when a community comes together for a common cause.
